These Eco Beach Chalets sleep up to four guests with a queen bed in each bedroom. If you have more than four guests, you must book our two bedroom family eco beach chalet, which sleeps up to six guests with a queen bed in the first bedroom and two bunk beds (sleeping four) in the second bedroom.
The two bedroom Eco Beach Chalet is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and bathroom.
The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, stove top and basic appliances. The bathroom is spacious with a separate Caroma Profile 5 toilet system.
The living area features reverse-cycle air-conditioning, comfortable couches and a television. Here you can sit back, relax, and enjoy panoramic views of the ocean.
Here at Ceduna Shelly Beach Caravan Park we recognise the water shortage problem across Ceduna and the Eyre Peninsula is one that we all must contribute to solving. The Eco-Friendly Beach Chalets are designed to provide comfortable, affordable accommodation that respects the environment and keeps water usage to a minimum.
The chalets are fitted with the Caroma Profile 5 toilet system. These toilets are fantastic for conserving water, they have recently achieved the WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling Standards) 5 star rating and save a staggering 72% of annual water usage compared to a regular toilet. So how do they work? The water used to wash your hands is pumped from the rainwater tank then goes directly into the cistern, is then reused to flush the toilet and is finally treated in the aqua nova 3000 water reuse system and then pumped out on to the garden via dripper irrigation.
They are also all built with Pilkington ComfortPlus glass that uses a thin, durable coating designed to improve thermal insulation and solar control performance. The walls and floors are also fitted with a special thermal and audio insulation for your convenience. All of the kitchen appliances have been selected for their high energy efficiency ratings; small changes make a big difference!
Daikin inverter air conditioners have been installed which are designed with advanced fan-motor technology making them one of the most energy efficient ways to heat or cool your home. Plus the lighting is all LED.
